Krillion Answer Checker

Choose a captured prompt and check an exact answer or an explicit alias against the available records.

Select a prompt, then enter an answer. Matching uses normalized text and explicit aliases only; no fuzzy guess is assigned a tier.

Leave blank for the latest recorded match. Scores can differ between captures.

What a match means

The result was recorded in our captured answer set for that prompt. The date and score provide the context. If there is no match, the answer may still be factually valid or accepted by the live game.

Read your checker result before changing your answer

  1. Find the exact prompt, including any restrictions such as a starting letter or category.
  2. Use the date of the capture you want to review. A result from another date is historical evidence, not a current ruling.
  3. Enter one answer. If it matches, read the recorded tier and score together with the source date.

Recorded matchYour text matches a captured answer or explicit alias for this prompt.Keep its date and tier together. A different question or later capture may assign a different score.
No recorded matchThe available records did not recognize this wording. This does not prove the answer is wrong.Check the prompt and date, then inspect recorded alternatives. Report a missing record with public evidence.
Unavailable data or request errorThe lookup could not establish a result.Retry or check the dated archive. Do not interpret a loading failure as an incorrect answer.

Why might the original game reject an answer?

Review whether the response fits every restriction, whether its spelling identifies the intended answer, and whether it is present in the publisher’s curated set. This companion cannot diagnose the live validator or change its decision. The official FAQ is the reference for publisher decisions.

For an error in our captured data, send the page URL, prompt, capture date, answer and supporting public source through Contact. For an unrecognized answer in our original practice game, use that game’s correction panel: its answer bank is separate.

How matching works

We trim whitespace, fold case and common punctuation variants, and match either the recorded answer or a reviewed alias. A similar-looking word alone will never be assigned a score.

Why didn’t Krillion accept my answer?

Check the prompt’s exact constraints and the name you entered first. The publisher acknowledges that its curated answer sets can omit valid responses. Use PlayKrillion.org’s Answer Checker to look for the answer or an explicit alias in a dated captured record. A local miss does not prove your answer is wrong; our checker cannot change or reproduce the official live validator. Report an incorrect PlayKrillion record with its date, prompt and public evidence through Contact.

What are some rare but accepted answers for a specific Krillion prompt?

Search the prompt wording in PlayKrillion.org’s Rare Answer Finder, then filter by date, tier or minimum score. Open a result to check its exact prompt and recorded answer context; use Prompt Finder if you need to locate the question first. These are captured accepted examples for that prompt and date. An answer that sounds obscure, or a suggestion from an AI assistant, is not proof of acceptance or a guaranteed future score.
