Source provenance
Each published Daily Dive is labeled by how we obtained it. Direct captures come from the game's public reveal. Historical dates may instead be reconstructed from public archives and are explicitly labeled as third-party records. A record can be cross-checked against two archives or published from a single explicitly selected archive. We keep source URLs, retrieval details and raw records for review.
Validation before publication
A direct record needs a valid date, seven unique prompt positions, nonempty prompt and answer text, source metadata and expected tier-score pairs. Official answer pools can vary widely in size; a large pool alone does not invalidate a capture. A historical record needs the same structure. Cross-checked records require exact agreement between both archives on prompt order, answer sets, tiers and scores. For September 2026, a documented source-selection decision also permits publication from the Krillion Game archive alone, with a single-source label. Other single-source records and unresolved differences stay unpublished.
Daily dates and timestamps
Daily Dive dates follow New York time. Historical records retain the calendar date supplied by their source. Fetch, source-check and database audit timestamps stay in UTC.
Historical snapshots and changes
A historical reconstruction is not a direct PlayKrillion capture of the original reveal. Archives can disagree or omit answers, so we keep conflicts for review and do not combine mismatched lists. If a direct public reveal capture later becomes available for a date, it takes precedence.
Missing data and tool limits
An answer missing from our database is not proof that it is factually incorrect. Our tools report only the information available in verified records. The checker uses exact normalized matches or explicit reviewed aliases; it does not simulate the original validator.
Generated study content
Automatically generated from verified captured records. These are study clues and data summaries, not publisher-authored hints or independently reviewed advice. Clues use the word count, first character and masked spelling of one verified high-value response. Question summaries use captured answer counts, dates and tiers. Generation does not add answers or alter source scores; report misleading clues through Contact.
Original practice bank
The Endless Dive practice activity uses independently written prompts and a separate, versioned answer bank, distinct from our Daily Dive captures. Each published item is checked against cited public references and reviewed before release through a documented machine-assisted source audit; it is not a human editorial board. Practice answers use explicit aliases, and a missing match does not establish that an answer is factually wrong. Editorial Familiar, Stretch, and Niche labels are teaching aids, not official Krillion tiers or measured player rarity. This data does not enter our Daily Dive captures, history, or original-game checker.
